OUR DESIRE IS THAT EVERY PERSON REGARDLESS OF AGE, WILL JOIN THE BEYOND INITIATIVE

Beyond is a challenge for expanding our ministry that will require more prayer, seeking after God, trust, and personal sacrifice from each one of us. All of us will have vital roles to play, as we look to see God continue to do remarkable things through His church in the days to come.

BUILD

Replace the aging modular buildings with a beautiful new building facing US17. This structure will provide large and small groups, as well as members, a gathering space for the purpose of encouragement and evangelism.

REACH

The reason for building and remodeling is for the purpose of making disciples that make disciples. We have opportunities to train people that will be used to impact our county for Christ by beginning new campuses and new churches. Beyond is a way to fund local church starts as well as strengthening our partnerships and expanding our reach into all the world.

REMODEL

God has blessed us with great spaces to meet, worship, and disciple. We need to remodel our worship center to create a more intimate space with updated seating and newer technology.

Beyond will afford you the special opportunity to be part of something that will outlive us and last for eternity. Our desire is that every person, regardless of age, joins in the Beyond initiative. Because of this desire, we will be asking you these questions:

  • Will you seek the Lord in prayer as to what He would have you to do?
  • We are asking God for a total operating budget of 14 million dollars to be given over the next two years through you. It will take all of us joining in to realize this financial goal. The elders are requesting that you think about what you can give for the next two years on top of your tithes.

Why are we starting this campaign now?

We have been praying and seeking the Lord’s direction for the future of our church over the last several years. We believe now is the time to move forward in fulfilling this work the Lord has put before us.

 

When will the Beyond campaign begin and end?

The two-year giving portion of the campaign will begin in November 2022 and end in November 2024.

Why is the project called “Beyond”?

We are asking God to do “far more abundantly/beyond than all we ask or think” He can and will do through us.

 

What’s a “commitment card”?

It’s a written version of your intention to participate in the Beyond vision for Hibernia Baptist Church. Every person who thinks of Hibernia Baptist as “My church”, is asked to pray and ask the Lord how He would have them be involved. The cards will assist the leadership team in determining how soon the Beyond vision can be carried forward.

Will I be able to adjust my commitment if I need to over the next 2 years?

You certainly can! Your commitment is between you and God, and you can adjust your commitment up or down as you are being led.



What are the various methods I can use to send in my gifts?

You can give by cash, check, by text or online giving. There are typically three ways people will give. 1.) Giving a one-time gift; 2.) Giving consistently over 24 months (weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually); 3.) Giving through stored resources (stocks, bonds, savings, real estate, etc.)
